Just found out that the True Blue Air Jordan 3 is coming back on Black Friday which means I will be trying to get True Blue 3 on Black Friday.
What up Guys Jacques Slade and welcome to Today in Sneaks lets kick off the show with a shoe that has been slept on the last few months, the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit. Super long name, but also a super comfortable shoe. As you can see there are several new colorways that are dropping but that point I really want to make is that these are really comfortable. I know a lot of you are on the Ultaboost and NMD wave and that is fine, but don’t knock these until you try them. Now I say that as a person that has both Ultra Boost, NMDs, and a pair of these. These are just as good without question. All three of these colorways are available now at select retailers like Hanon for $160.

If you haven’t really been feeling the kicks that have dropped in 2016, no need to worry as things are about to start getting really interesting. Starting next month, Jordan Brand is kicking things off with a retro of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe”. These actually dropped in limited numbers yesterday as part of the Banned Jordan Anniversary and will be officially hitting retail on November 5th. From what I can tell, the quality on these matches the past pairs and should a bit challenging to pick up as is usually the case with the Air Jordan 1. For many, this colorway is even better than the Chicago colorway because of the mix of colors. I can see why people would think that. Look for these to cost you $160.
Nike
If you talk to certain people, they would tell you that the resell market drives the sneaker culture. While I don’t disagree with that entirely, I think it is a lot bigger than that. With that being said, the folks at High Snobiety linked with Stock X and illustrator Dan Freebin for a list of the Top 10 Most expensive sneakers of the last quarter. As you would expect, the adidas Ultra Boost is at the top of the list followed by the Yeezy 350 Boost V2 which is followed by Mastermind adidas NMD XR1. A notable exclusion from the list is Nike. Jordan is on the list, but it is at number 7 and New Balance makes the list as well at number 9. Mind you this is only reporting on the last quarter of the year, but things are definitely changing.
High Snobiety
Since I know most of you have been on your adidas grind forever, you will already know about the next shoe on the show, the adidas Tubular Invader. The invader made waves previously because of how closely it resembled Kanye’s shoe, but that is neither here nor there. Starting today, it looks like adidas is updating the model to the 2.0 status and shaking the Kanye comparisons along the way. The updates removes the strap and but still maintains the Tubular outsole look near the heel. Full grain leather is used for the materials and you also get some faux snakeskin along the heel. These two pairs are for women, but expect mens sizes to pop up relatively soon.

When it comes to the Air Jordan 1 “Top 3” you are either going to love them or hate them. Like the Black Toes I spoke about eaerlier, these dropped in limited numbers yesterday but the full launch isn’t scheduled till November 28th. The full story behind the shoe has yet to be released, but the basic story is Jordan Brand mixed the three most popular colorways of the shoe, the Banned 1s, Royal 1s, and Chicago 1s. The color schemes seems to alternate the red and the blue as well as the black and the white, but not exactly. Some red parts are white and blue is black, it is definitely a good mix of the three shoes, well colorways. They even mixed the outsoles. Look for these to arrive for $160.
