Descriptions of the shoe:
Previously reported that an Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNDFTD Dunk” would be dropping this year, sources now report that the model is dubbed as the AJ 1 High OG “Bio Hack.” Flaunting a Baroque Brown, Black, Laser Orange, and Racer Pink color scheme, this rendition of the AJ 1 is somewhat reflective of the iconic UNDFTD Dunk with its color block finish. Its suede and leather construction features black and brown hues for its medial and heel section, while two shades of blue dominate the toe area. Pink for the inner lining, orange tongues, white Swooshes and a Mint Green midsole tops off the style.
The Air Jordan 1 High has surfaced in a brand new colorway, and the latest style appears to draw inspiration from one of the most coveted Nike Dunk collaborations ever released.
Thanks to a first look provided by @soledebrief, the “Bio Hack” iteration pictured here features a bevy of colors on the premium suede upper like brown, blue, teal, orange, and pink. While the connection has not been confirmed by Jordan Brand, this makeup is loosely inspired by Undefeated’s Nike Dunk High NL from 2005, which is currently fetching over $1,000 on the secondary market.
As of now, official info for this Jordan 1 High “Bio Hack” has yet to be announced by the brand, but Sept. 5 has been pegged as a potential release date. stay tuned for future developments in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (08/21): Official images of the “Bio Hack” Air Jordan 1 High have surfaced, with the pair scheduled to release at select retailers on Friday, Sept. 4. for $170.
To go along with the Air Jordan 1 Zoom that nods to 2007’s “Brut” Nike SB Dunk High, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bio Hack” is a new colorway that resembles 2005’s Undefeated x Nike Dunk High.
Dressed in a Baroque Brown, Black, Laser Orange, and Racer Pink color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 is inspired by Japan’s fast-paced capital city featuring a suede build with leather appearing on the Blue toe. Pink liner and branding tongue label, Orange tongues atop a Mint Green midsole and Black rubber outsole completes the design.
First seen in late June, just days before being officially unveiled as part of Jordan Brand’s Fall 2020 collection, the Air Jordan 1 “Bio Hack” launches on Friday, September 4th. At quick glance, the pair’s “Baroque Brown” “Racer Pink”, and other disparate hues may seem more suitable for the experimental Jordan 1 Mid, but they grace the High in honor of a city that’s embraced Jordans for decades: Tokyo. The eye-catching palette resembles the bright lights all-over Japan’s capital, infusing a modern sensibility into the heritage silhouette. Overlays throughout the shoe boast soft suede that may not make a statement with their color scheme, but do so with their premium construction. Unlike most other iterations of the Jordan 1 High, this “Bio Hack” version features an embroidered tongue badge instead of the vintage-style “NIKE AIR” branding. Underfoot, the high-top retro forgoes any tried-and-tested arrangement in favor of a predominantly faint neon green sole unit. Enjoy another look at the Jordan 1 “Bio Hack” here below, and find pairs available via Nike SNKRS on September 4th.
Inspired by 2005’s lauded Undefeated x Nike Dunk High collab, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bio Hack” is crafted from various colored panels ranging from “Baroque Brown,” black, “Laser Orange,” and “Racer Pink,” the same color scheme as the aforementioned Undefeated x Nike Dunk High. Rounding out the overall look is a pink liner, orange tongue, and a mint green midsole and rubber outsole.
Fans can expect the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bio Hack” to drop September 4 for $170. And just like in 2005, this release could be limited to only 5,000 pairs. Keep it locked here for more details when they surface.
